Data Deletion Instructions
Learn how to request deletion of information associated with AlSafaqa services and Meta/Facebook integrations.

Last updated August 18, 2026
1. Scope
These Data Deletion Instructions explain how users, account holders, Facebook Page administrators, and authorized representatives can request deletion of information held by AlSafaqa in connection with the platform and its integrations, including the Meta/Facebook Page Publishing integration.
2. Information associated with Meta/Facebook integrations
When an authorized administrator connects a Facebook Page to AlSafaqa, we may store limited information needed to establish, operate, secure, and audit that connection. This may include the connected Facebook Page name and identifier, AlSafaqa administrator or account identifiers associated with the connection, platform configuration and connection status, encrypted Page authorization credentials, publishing records, remote post identifiers and URLs, and technical audit, diagnostic, or error information.
AlSafaqa uses the connected Facebook Page credential to perform authorized Page-management and publishing operations. Personal Facebook credentials such as a Facebook password must never be provided to AlSafaqa by email or through a support request.
AlSafaqa does not sell personal information.
3. Disconnecting a Facebook Page
An authorized AlSafaqa administrator may disconnect a Facebook Page from Social Publishing. Disconnecting removes the stored Facebook Page publishing connection and its encrypted Page publishing credential from AlSafaqa so that the connection can no longer be used by AlSafaqa to publish new content.
Application-level configuration and limited publishing, security, audit, or error records may remain where reasonably necessary for administration, security, troubleshooting, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or legitimate recordkeeping.
4. Removing access through Meta
A Facebook or Meta user may also remove or revoke an application or business integration through the controls provided by Meta. Revoking Meta access prevents future access through that authorization, but it does not necessarily delete information that AlSafaqa previously received or created. To request deletion of information retained by AlSafaqa, follow the request process below.
5. How to request deletion
To request deletion of information held by AlSafaqa, email [email protected] with the subject "Data Deletion Request".
Please provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records, such as the connected Facebook Page name or Page identifier, the AlSafaqa account or organization associated with the request, and a brief description of the information you want deleted.
Do not send passwords, Facebook access tokens, API keys, payment credentials, or other sensitive authentication information with your request.
6. Verification of requests
To protect account and Page information, AlSafaqa may take reasonable steps to verify the identity or authority of the person making a deletion request before acting on it. This is particularly important where a request concerns an organization, a connected social-media Page, a protected account, or information that could affect another user or administrator.
7. How deletion requests are handled
After a valid request has been identified and, where appropriate, verified, AlSafaqa will delete, disconnect, or de-identify information under its control that is covered by the request and is not required to be retained.
Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud or abuse prevention, legal or regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, enforcement of agreements, audit requirements, protection of legal rights, or other legitimate obligations. Where information is retained for such a purpose, access and use will remain limited to that purpose.
8. Published Facebook content and Meta-held information
Content that has already been published to Facebook is hosted and processed on Meta systems. Deleting information from AlSafaqa does not necessarily remove an existing Facebook post or other information held independently by Meta.
Facebook Page administrators can manage published Page content using Facebook or Meta tools. Where AlSafaqa provides a supported deletion or reconciliation function for a post created through Social Publishing, an authorized administrator may also use that function.
Meta is responsible for its own systems, privacy practices, retention policies, and deletion processes.
9. Other privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, individuals may have additional rights concerning personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, export, or withdrawal of consent where relevant. More information is available in the AlSafaqa Privacy Policy.
